Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Duties:
Maintains & manage warehouse staff: by recruiting selecting, orientate as well as staff job KPI`s by coaching, mentoring, training, counseling and discipline employees; planning monitoring and appraising job results. Daily optimum planning of additional labor.
Maintains receiving, warehousing distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing Cargo Wise system compliance, operational and personnel policies and procedures.
Financial control – through budget adherence, cost control and implementation of saving initiatives.
Full compliance and management of local warehousing legislation.
Orders complying and execution and liaison with customers to ensure required service levels are maintained.
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Daily checklist is completed, and issues are resolved.
Manage non-conformances (NCR`s) within 24-hour period and provide relevant feedback to customer and commercial division.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements:
Matric
Degree/Diploma in Logistics and or Warehouse Management
HACCP and Food Safety systems
Quality Systems and Environmental Systems
Industrial Relations Practice
Computer Literate
System Working Knowledge
Package & Remuneration
