St Nicholas Diocesan School is an Independent, Co-ed, Day and Boarding, Anglican School situated in the heart of Pietermaritzburg, catering for pupils from Grade RR to Grade 12. Intermediate Phase Educator
Responsibilities
- Relevant Intermediate Phase teaching qualification
- SACE registration
- Police clearance certificate
- Passionate about teaching young people
- Passionate about making a difference
- A working knowledge of the educational needs in the Intermediate Phase is essential, as is creativity, progressive thinking and motivation in the classroom
- Previous teaching experience in a school environment will be advantageous but not essential
- Significant level of computer literacy and to be able to integrate IT into the teaching programme
- Commitment and ability to participate in the pastoral, cultural and extramural activities of the school
- Work effectively as a member of a team
- Excellent inter-personal, teamwork and communication skills with colleagues, learners and parents
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Uphold the Christian ethos of the school
