Description
IGrow Wealth Investments, South Africa’s #1 Property Investment Company, is looking for a Trust Attorney to join their team in Pretoria.
Requirements:
- Completed their LLB Degree
- Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English). Fluency in a third or more languages beneficial
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the same or similar role
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on all trust, company, tax and property law-related matters.
- Advise clients about our investment structures.
- Attend to the registration and drafting of company and trust structures.
- Act as an independent trustee on all our clients’ trusts.
- Review and amend existing trusts.
- Drafting, amending and revising wills.
- Host monthly seminars,
- Liaising with the Master’s Office, Deeds Office, banks and transfer/bond attorneys.
- Attend to al FICA and FIC compliance matters.
- Manage a small team of trust administrators.
- The overall administration of Trusts in compliance with the Deed of Trust including but not limited to annual trustee meetings and trust resolution
- Name reservation for companies
- Registration of new companies with CIPC
- Filing annual returns for companies & informing the clients of it being due
- Building and maintaining sound client relationships
- Drafting and sending invoices as well as following up on payments
- Ad hoc duties as required.
