TEMPORARY isiZULU TEACHER – FIRST LANGUAGE GRADE 4 & SECOND ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE GRADE 0-7
(MATERNITY POST – APPROXIMATELY FROM MID OCTOBER 2023 TO MID FEBRUARY 2024)
The successful candidate must be an experienced and well-qualified teacher who holds an appropriate professional teaching qualification and is registered with SACE. Previous experience in Independent Education is an advantage but is not essential.

- Be a committed Christian
- Be fluent in isiZulu
- Be able to teach other subjects if necessary
- Have appropriate academic and professional qualifications
- Have an innovative and progressive approach to teaching isiZulu as a Second Additional Language
- Have a sound knowledge of current trends and best practice in education
- Have the capacity to develop and sustain new teaching ideas
- Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Be prepared to work outside of school hours, where necessary
- Be prepared to participate fully in the extra-mural programme of the school
- Be prepared to be a part of a mentoring programme
- Be passionate about inclusive education, be creative, self-motivated, organised and energetic
- Possess proof of a sexual offender’s/police clearance certificate
