Our client requires the services of a Technical Data Analyst
POSITION: Contract role for 3 months
COMMENCEMENT: Must be able to start ASAP.
Duties & Responsibilities
THE ROLE:
The primary responsibility for the role is to be a data champion in the EPM programme responsible for Data requirements, Data Integration between Applications & Data Sources, assessing and maintaining Data Integrity and Quality, defining hierarchy management, defining entity hierarchies and account hierarchies and provide data maintenance strategies.
Key deliverables and outputs
- To initiate analysis the existing data sources and sets required to produce desired reports from SAP and Kerridge systems
- Connect the requirements of the reports between SAP data tables to Teradata environment.
- To identify and document the data sources and business rules applied.
- Translate SAP and Kerridge transaction codes for data integration mapping
- Provide support for data integration from disparate sources utilizing: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Office VBA, and PowerShell
- Provide expertise and guidance on best practice regarding technical design (database structure, stored procedures, automated jobs, data normalization)
- Support the importance of data processes, data integrity and cleanliness, and the strategic use of data.
Desired Experience & Qualification
REQUIREMENTS:
- Tera data Integrations
- Experience with database management and SQL dialects and MS SQL Server and Oracle platforms
- Experience working with relations databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
- Experience with data mining
- Experience in ETL processes
