Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Taking responsibility for customer growth and retention, aligning customer needs to the appropriate "Software as a Service” (SaaS)
  • Developing business growth opportunities with small to mid-large enterprise companies with a national presence
  • Developing a sales pipeline by building interest with new prospects and clients resulting from outbound research and activities including email, phone, cold calling, and social media activities
  • Responding to marketing generated leads and logging all sales activities into the CRM
  • Demonstrating a fundamental understanding of solutions and clearly articulating their advantages
  • Developing sales strategies in collaboration with peers, in pursuit of individual and team success
  • Arranging and conducting product demonstrations with interested prospects
  • Spearheading, driving and guiding potential prospects through the buying process, from discovery to close of sale
  • Working with pre-sales technical support to develop, demonstrate andpropose the appropriate solutions that solve customer problems, aligned with measurable metrics
  • Participating in networking events and industry conferences to drive lead generation, and in conjunction with the Marketing Department, carrying out and driving marketing and sales campaigns
  • Developing a healthy pipeline to support quota achievement by applying a prescribed sales methodology to all opportunities
  • Meeting monthly and quarterly quotas, including demonstrations set and conducted, qualified opportunities and sales achievement
  • Ensuring timeous renewal of annual support maintenance
  • Maintaining customer relationships in a professional manner and ensuring  that the brand image is enhanced
  • Resolving customer issues and complaints

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric and a Degree or Diploma in IT, Sales or Marketing
  • At least 2 to 3 yeqars experience in “hunter focused” internal sales experience and B2B solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in consultative software solutions sales, working to a prescribed sales methodology (software/SaaS sales)
  • Experience selling CAD (Computer Aided Design) software and industrial engineering solutions essential (CAD and PLM solutions sales experience)
  • Technical background in software/IT
  • Experience in the manufacturing or engineering sector
