My client is a top Insurance Brokerage in the Sandton area with a highly driven team governed by hard work and the provision of excellent service to its clients.

Based in the Sandton Area, they need a dynamic, hardworking, and experienced Snr Claims Administrator with both Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance Claims Admin experience within the Motor and Non-motor claims aspects.

You will need to have worked within a Brokerage to be considered for this role.

Your role is: 

To manage the claims Administration and Negotiation process of your allocated client base in order to place the client in the position they were in immediately prior to their loss and always trying to adhere to the Company's Service standards and turnaround times.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your Core duties include: 

Claims Administration (motor and non-motor) of the allocated portfolios.

All activities around Claims Administration are to be done effectively within the given turnaround times that the company has in place. These activities include:

  • The taking of all relevant details accurately from clients
  • Ensuring that all the necessary premiums and cover are in place, registering the claim and maintaining communication with the client at all times.

 

Motor claims

  • Arrange with the Insurer to have an assessor inspecting damage, conducting regular follow-ups on authorisations and assessments done

 

General Administrative Tasks - including all updates and information being maintained on the CIMS Systems, along with client communication and feedback, obtaining relevant risk updates and changes and ensuring payments are updated etc.

Treating Customers Fairly - at all times 

FAIS

Ensuring that all FAIS related documented in support of work processes and procedures is filed and kept up to date including Record of Advice, Needs Analysis, Disclosure Documents for the following processes:

• Quotes

• New Business

• Renewals

• Endorsements

Desired Experience & Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • Min. 3-5 Years of relevant Claims Administration experience within a Brokerage environment is essential.
  • Experience with both motor and non-motor claims administration and commercial claims experience as well.

 

Technical Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Motor Vehicle Underwriting
  • Claims Processing

 

Qualifications Required:

  • Grd 12 essential
  • FAIS Compliant with required Credits

 

Professional Attributes Necessary for the Role:

  • Solid interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to handle pressure & meet deadlines
  • Excellent IT proficiency
  • Exceptionally detail oriented
  • Understanding of CIMS3
  • Clear credit history recommended

 

Package & Remuneration

R30 000 to R40 000 per month - based on an individual candidate basis and the experience and qualifications, along with skill set you bring.
