Description
Duties & Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE:
- Transport Management for different development teams and transport processing, retrofit of transports (5-tier landscape) and SAP solution manager ChaRM (e.g. set-up CRs and CDs)
- Emergency transport execution
- Be responsible for confluence build manager page
- Guidance DEVOPS team regarding ABAP guidelines and code compliance rules
- Guidance DEVOPS team regarding technical design for new developments or interface technologies
- Go-live preparation and post Go-live support
- Support the DEVOPS team with issues and provide a solution-based approach (e.g. manage installation of cloud connector, execute penetration test, …)
- In charge of requesting developer keys and SAP authorizations for the DEVOPS teams
- In charge of driving e.g. SAP note installations, sandbox installations, system copies in close collaboration with SAP platform management
- In charge of system performance monitoring in close collaboration with SAP Basis
- Part of a DEVOPS team staffed with functional and technical consultants.
- Agile approach (Scrum, LeSS).
- The DEVOPS team has the full responsibility for the software-lifecycle. From design, development, documentation, test, system demonstration and implementation including maintenance and operations.
- Daily close collaboration with SAP platform management, SAP Basis and other build managers is necessary.
- Continuous qualification in the area of software security aspects and code compliance as well as SAP ABAP best practices is expected.
- Regular weekend work and shift work will be required, due to transport windows outside office hours and due to operations responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS:
