Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Process & Technology, You will be responsible for:
- Designing and detailed engineering of processing plants for brewery, soft drinks, dairy products & water treatment.
- Managing projects from quotations to final acceptance
- Technical clarification of projects
- Compiling flow charts as process descriptions for programming of individual units, plants or higher- level processes
- Calculating the scope of supply of projects
- Management of 3rd party supply (equipment and services) from technical tendering to final acceptance of supply
- Carry out equipment size calculation, equipment specification, piping designs, etc.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions for Process problems
- Clarify technical issues
- Conduct FAT for the software together with the software engineer
- Independent and autonomous procedural commissioning of respective machines and process plants, especially in cases of complex procedural lines on site with the customer
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions for process problems
- Plan, organize and execute process evaluation
- Train and develop technical members
- Support the Automation Engineer in creating DDS’s and other automation related documents
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
- BSc/BTech Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Process Engineering, preferably in the beverage industry
- Ability to communicate with suppliers and customers across various levels
- Must be willing to travel
Package & Remuneration
Salary / Package
R50K - R75K CTC per month
