Description
Our Client in the Automotive industry requires the service of an experienced Production Manager who will ensure that production meets customer requirements and standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that production meets customer requirements and standards
- Ensure that productivity targers are met .(KPI's)
- Budget Control
- Effective Management of Resources and Department (HR)
- 5S (House Keeping)
- Shop Floor discipline
- Compliance to Internal Policy's and Procedures
TASKS
- Schedule production - Plan and organise manpower in the production schedule.
- To grant first off approval if judgement allows , and to provide supporting evidence.
- Liaises with Tool Room Manager concerning quality , parts and tooling issues.
- Liaises with customers and delivery issues
- Monitor performance of the Plant against the defined metrics/ Productivity system.
- Initiate corrective action when a PAR is raised against Production.
- Ensure compliance to all internal Company policies and Procedures
- Act in the capacity as technical represenative to resolve problems with customers
- Ensure shop floor discipline is maintained at all times
- Drive improvement with regards to Scrap and rework.
