St Teresa’s is looking for a suitably qualified, experienced and passionate Physical Education Educator to teach and coach various sports in both the Senior Primary and High School
This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
he successful candidate must:
- be a qualified teacher and SACE registered.
- have the requisite Police Clearance.
- have a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.
- be able to coach and organise athletics, hockey, netball and soccer
- be knowledgeable of current trends and education policies in Physical Education and sports development.
- have experience in coordinating the Sports Programme of the School.
- have experience in organising sport events and fixtures.
- be able to work as part of a team of enthusiastic educators and develop a purposeful curriculum.
- be willing to develop Grade specific programmes to enhance the learners’ personal growth and leadership skills in the Senior Primary in particular.
- be committed and willing to work outside of normal school hours.
The ideal candidate must have good time management skills, be willing to work on weekends, be organised, enthusiastic and suited to teaching in a girls’ Catholic school.
