Description
WHPS is a Traditional / Christian-based school specialising in the education of boys from Grade 0 to 7, and Prep-Prep boys and girls.
The WHPS Music Department are looking for a peripatetic Brass teacher who is enthusiastic to grow brass at the school.
Responsibilities
- A suitable qualification (BMus)
- Experience (5 years or more) to teach all the brass instruments: trumpet, cornet, trombone, euphonium, horn
- Familiarity with pBuzz and other starter instruments
- Brass band / ensemble coaching experience
- Ability to compose / arrange music as necessary
- Ability to teach from the current ABRSM / Trinity Syllabus and prepare pupils for Matinee performances
- Ability to teach theory
- Willingness to perform in staff items throughout the year
- SACE registration
- A police clearance certificate
- Commencement date: 01 October 2023
