Description

Responsibilities:

    • Generating new business using existing and potential client networks.
    • Identifying potential clients and setting approach strategies.
    • Finding new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
    • Maintaining an accurate opportunity pipeline. Setting and monitoring sales targets.
    • Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns.
    • Producing and delivering proposals and presentations for prospective new clients.
    • Delivering technical overviews and demonstrations to potential clients.
    • Coordinating sales effort with team members and other departments.
    • Collaborating with team members to achieve better results.
    • Improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Remaining current with key industry advancements and important news.
    • Adapting to the fast rate of change in the technology space.
Profile

Skills / Experience:

  • 5 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in a Business Development position within the IT or Technology sectors.
  • A consultative sales methodology.
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • The ability to develop relationships with both operational and business.
  • A clear understanding of business requirements and the ability to translate these into IT solutions.
  • Commercial skills including negotiation, development of business cases and demonstrating ROI.
  • Experience in the following would be advantageous:
    • Strong knowledge of Cloud Solution Provider model
    • Ability to align business goals with IT
