Description
The following full-time permanent position has become available from 1 July 2023:
Mathematics Teacher | Grade 8 to 12
Cape Town established, registered independent school requires a committed, dedicated, and motivated Mathematics Teacher to teach mentioned subjects to Gr 8 to 12
Responsibilities
- Formal recognised teaching qualification BEd PGCE etc
- Formal full-time class teaching 2 years
- High competency in Maths subject teaching
- A dynamic, energetic, friendly teaching personality
- Able to navigate MS Office, Google classroom, Zoom etc.
- SA Citizen or Valid current permanent residency
- SACE Registration & Clear SAPS record (no endorsements current / pending)
- The above are essential requirements
To Do
- Deliver an exceptional learning experience to students with varied abilities
- Be passionate about accommodating individual learning styles
- Engage 1:1 with small class dynamics, accommodating freedom of learning styles
- Manage, plan, assist and promote teaching and learning within the class
- Plan, control, record, and report on assessments
