Description
Our client in the Agricultural Industry in Robertson is looking for a fulltime Logistics and Export Coordinator to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conducting exports and shipping line bookings
- All export administration including liaison with freight forwarders, shipping agents and vessel bookings.
- Preparation of shipping instructions and draft/pro-forma documentation
- Liaise with Department of Agriculture for relevant certification.
- Continuous communication with- and updates to clients and production facility.
- Capture of shipments on ABS system.
Administrative duties:
- Completing production orders.
- Capturing client and producer contracts on ABS system.
- Generating producer contracts.
Administration of productions on the ABS system
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Post Matric qualification
- At least 5 years of work experience in general office administration and customer liaison
- Proven MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.)
- Proven Pastel accounting system proficiency
- Proven data processing experience (Access, Excel or another database platform)
- Experience in database management programs
- Experience co-ordinating with many service providers for order completion
- Experience with agricultural software programs
- Customer service qualification/course (advantageous but not essential)
- Code 08 Drivers licence will be a prerequisite
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
- Interpersonal skills / team work
- Ability to focus on detail
- Good work coordination skills
- Good communication skills & friendly disposition
