Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting in the acquisition and procurement of routinely purchased materials
- Liaising with suppliers
- Liaising with the relevant departments regarding procurement and supply demands
- Maintaining quality relationships with suppliers
- Reviewing weekly materials stock lists
- Supporting the procurement process by gathering pricing, product and stock level information
- Following up with suppliers when orders are placed and providing applicable feedback
- Updating the departments to show orders in progress to meet deadlines
- Requesting quotations
- Compliance with company protocol regarding procurement of materials
- Assisting Senior Procurement Officer with relevant tasks when needed
