The IT Technician will be responsible for the daily administrative and technical duties of IT related issues, including the maintenance & managing of assets.

• Assisting users remotely on software applications problems and installation of software packages
• Installations and setting up 3G
• Setting up network, local printers
• Creating e-mail accounts
• Replacing and installing computer hardware components
• Installing an updating anti-virus programs and removing viruses on computers
• Ensure minimum downtime of network or internet if there is a problem
• Maintaining the security system for the network
• Maintenance on Network equipment and cabling
• Knowledge of fibre cables and media converters

Knowledge of Clocking System Server and Clocking Readers

• Deliver service and support to end-users using
• Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns.
• Gather customer’s information and determine the issue by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving internet connectivity, email clients, backups and server.
• Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications
• Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers where necessary
• Stay current with system information, changes and updates including VMware and Antivirus

• Matric
• Relevant tertiary IT qualification
• 2 years exp in IT / Systems support (hardware & software)
