Description

St Benedict’s is an Independent Catholic School which seeks to provide a holistic education for boys through full participation in spiritual, academic, sporting, creative and cultural activities. The Board of Governors invites applications for the following post in the College.

Responsibilities

  • Must have at least 2-3 years IT Support experience, with A+ and N+ qualifications
  • Maintain school chromebooks and management thereof through google workspace
  • Provide support on google classroom and other google end user applications
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to users
  • Logging support calls and provide status update to users
  • Acting as primary contact for all hardware, software and other IT related issues
  • Maintaining existing PCs and peripherals by performing upgrades and other routine procedures
  • Assisting with the maintenance of managed system software
  • Maintaining asset inventory of hardware and software
  • Desktop support and infrastructure
  • Understand the following concepts (DHCP, DNS, AD, VLANs)
  • Deploy Bulk Operating Systems using WDS
  • Basic understanding of IP networks and cabling thereof
  • Will be required to assist with tech setups at school functions from time to time after hours
  • Assist students with Account, Application and Wi-Fi queries
  • Be a team player and able to work independently
  • Be willing to participate in the Catholic Ethos of the School
