Description
St Benedict’s is an Independent Catholic School which seeks to provide a holistic education for boys through full participation in spiritual, academic, sporting, creative and cultural activities. The Board of Governors invites applications for the following post in the College.
Responsibilities
- Must have at least 2-3 years IT Support experience, with A+ and N+ qualifications
- Maintain school chromebooks and management thereof through google workspace
- Provide support on google classroom and other google end user applications
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to users
- Logging support calls and provide status update to users
- Acting as primary contact for all hardware, software and other IT related issues
- Maintaining existing PCs and peripherals by performing upgrades and other routine procedures
- Assisting with the maintenance of managed system software
- Maintaining asset inventory of hardware and software
- Desktop support and infrastructure
- Understand the following concepts (DHCP, DNS, AD, VLANs)
- Deploy Bulk Operating Systems using WDS
- Basic understanding of IP networks and cabling thereof
- Will be required to assist with tech setups at school functions from time to time after hours
- Assist students with Account, Application and Wi-Fi queries
- Be a team player and able to work independently
- Be willing to participate in the Catholic Ethos of the School
