Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for researching, specific job content requirements, identifying staff training and development needs, and for planning, organising and overseeing appropriate training and development.
  • Plan and administer work-study, job Analysis, training and staff development programs to ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge to function effectively and meet the organization's business and operational objectives.
  • Conducting work studies and job analysis.
  • Identify and record KPA’s and KPI’s to reflect in Job Descriptions.
  • Compile relevant Job Descriptions and Job Specifications.
  • Liaise with managers and interviewing employees at all levels to identify, assess and record training and development needs.
  • Plan and budget for training programmes.
  • Design training programmes and training curricula.
  • Compiling training material and presenting of material.
  • Delivering and overseeing the training of individuals or groups of employees.
  • Implementing a system of monitoring individual trainee progress.
  • Ensuring employees receive statutory required training.
  • Supervising and monitoring progress made via training programmes or schemes.
  • Report weekly and monthly to management on training progress.
  • Training and development effectiveness based on test scores pre- and post-training.
  • Increase in the number of internal promotions.
  • Reduction in employee turnover ratio.
  • Employee job satisfaction via survey responses.
  • Resource capacity utilisation.
  • Increase in per-capita production output.
  • Increased attendance ratio.
  • Improvement of Operational and Supervisory management capability.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Tertiary qualification in a training discipline.
  • Business Management and Psychology qualifications can be advantageous.
  • Minimum 3 years previous experience as a teacher / trainer / instructor.
  • Good understanding of the Human Resource Discipline.
  • Matric educational qualification which includes, Mathematics, Accounting, Business Science, Economics, Languages.
  • Functional Outsourcing environment background
  • Extensive knowledge on warehousing and logistics processes.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and handle pressure.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
