Description

Requirements
- A minimum requirement of a Professional Degree in Education and/or a four (4) year professional teaching qualification
- Teaching experience within the ISASA School System is essential
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Dynamic, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy is imperative
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as to manage a team
- Ability to identify with the values, culture, and ethos of the school
- Valid SACE, Police clearance, Sexual offenders, and Child protection certificates
- Experience in a leadership/management position will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Encouraging, creating, and directing the pursuit of excellence and innovation in the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Researching and investigating current global educational trends and the implementation of such activities.
- Identifying and facilitating staff development programmes and staff opportunities for growth
- Monitoring academic growth and development within the various disciplines
- Regular consultation with the academic staff, Subject Leaders, Phase Psychologist, and HOD of Foundation Phase.
- Providing guidance and advice to staff by means of class observation(s), and regular review of pupil activities, and tracking pupil results.
- Mentoring of new staff
