ACUDEO College seeks a qualified, experienced and competent EDUCATOR in the Foundation Phase. Applicants with relevant qualifications and experience must submit a motivation letter stating the vacancy they are applying for and a comprehensive CV with all supporting copies of qualifications, including SACE registration
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- The preparation of lessons as per the CAPS curriculum requirements
- Research new teaching aids and support material such as textbooks
- The development of each student’s interests and abilities through activities
- Tracking the progress of each learner and reporting this back to the parent/guardian as well as the school management
- Responsible for guiding and supervising work in class while retaining discipline
- Maintain all records as required by the Department of Basic Education
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and other events as required
- Fulfil assessment requirements such as conducting and marking assessments
- Work closely with school staff
- Collaborate with other teachers
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
- Excellent Knowledge of CAPS
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer literate
- Organizing, facilitation, and planning
- Able to work under pressure.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- B.Ed. in Education or similar
- Honours Degree (Advantageous)
