German-speaking Control Centre Agent (Contract) - Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation - iS01544
Our client requires the services of a German-speaking Control Centre Agent
POSITION: Contract until December 2022 (possible renewals)
COMMENCEMENT: ASAP
Duties & Responsibilities
ROLE
- Provide Production Support (IT) for all German speaking Plants
- Be the telephone call receipt of IT incidents related to production issues
- Pre-qualify IT-incidents and classify additional relationships
- Fix incidents in IT systems in accordance with manuals
- Monitor IT system error messages and process accordingly
- Provide guidance throughout the Incident management processes
- Initiate the IT escalation process, when required
- Process email requests
- Serve as an “Information channel” for Management and end-users
- Work shifts as part of a team providing 24 x 7 support
Desired Experience & Qualification
REQUIREMENTS:
- Two to three years working experience in IT, including the technical skills listed below. Minimum qualification required
- German High School Diploma
- Information Technology Qualification
- Fluent German-speaking, including Business reading and writing.
- Fluent English-speaking, including Business reading and writing
- Alternatively, two to three years working experience in IT, including the technical skills listed below.
- Open to SA Citizens / Permanent Residents
- Willing to travel internationally, for up to 6 weeks at a time Additional Requirements (if applicable)
Technical/Functional Skills
- Analytical
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure components
- Basic IT administration skills (e.g. LINUX / Windows)
- Experience with IT Customer service
- Experience with First level support (customer contact)
- Experience in a vehicle production or other Manufacturing environment (advantageous)
