Our ideal Head of Foundation will lead this area while teaching a Foundation Phase grade.

They will:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction in the Foundation Phase ensuring the delivery of a
quality curriculum

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in education or related field
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in educational leadership specialising in Foundation Phase
• Knowledge and experience in teaching Inquiry-Based Learning
• Proven ability to inspire, motivate and mentor the Foundation Phase Teachers.
• An energetic and inspirational approach to girls’ teaching and learning
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity, respect and
ethical behaviour
• Knowledge of current educational trends, teaching approaches and assessment strategies
