Roedean School (SA) is an independent school situated in Parktown, Johannesburg seeking to appoint an English Teacher effective from Term 1 2024.
Responsibilities
We welcome an application from a person who:
- Is a dedicated English specialist who seeks to integrate technologies and thinking skills to the full;
- is capable of teaching English to Matric level;
- has an excellent level of spoken and written English;
- has a growth-mindset and a commitment to embracing and sharing new ideas and pedagogies;
- is experienced teaching Grade 8 to Grade 12 Home Language English;
- is capable of developing creative new material and collaborating with colleagues in the planning and assessment processes;
- has the ability to develop and sustain new ideas and work co-operatively with a team of teachers;
- understands, identifies and can contribute to the Christian ethos and values of the school; and
- has the requisite academic and professional qualifications and a SACE Registration Certificate.
