Description
Our client is looking for a person based in Durban to service the KZN area. This will be on a year to year basis but minimum for 40 months.
Candidate (Electrical Engineer/Technologist).
Minimum Requirements:
- Electrical Engineer, Technologist qualification
- Professional Registration: Full professional ECSA registration required. Minimum 5 years’ experience with Underground Reticulation & Street Lighting.
(Including related experience in design & specifications, tender process, contract management, construction supervision & handover)
- Must be proficient in Windows 7 or later, Outlook 365, MS Word & Excel 2013 or later.
- Own transport & valid Code 08 licence
- Must be a self-starter, be able to work independent/unsupervised within a larger team structure.
- Location : Pietermaritzburg/Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal
- The position as Resident Engineer will require the candidate to manage cash flow, project program, compile and submit regular status/progress reports, and other project related admin.
- The candidate will also be required to conduct regular site meetings and inspections, resolve design issues, verify contractor installations quality, compliance with the designs & specifications.
- The candidate will be required to coordinate with contractors, design engineers, the client and other members of the team as may be required.
- Must be proficient in English, (read, write, speak)
