Description
Our client in Montague Gardens is urgently looking for a Distribution Supervisor in the their Warehouse
Duties & Responsibilities
- Management and monitor route optimisation system for efficiency in planning and timeous deliveries
- Fleet management including fleet maintenance, accident investigations, insurance claims, licensing, traffic fines, cleaning etc
- Management of outsourced transporters
- Control of third party equipment
- OTIF Delivery management and measurement
- Management of deliveries to branches
- Customer collection (Cash sales) control ensuring speed, accuracy and correct cash processing
- Invoicing - insure correct capturing, missing stock invoiced, all picking slips invoiced
- Administration - POD's filed and credit Notes correctly issued
- Stock taking monthly
- Monthly reporting e.g fuel consumption, truck utilization, OTIF, maintenance costrs, picking efficiency, staff attendance
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- Minimum 5 years warehousing experience
- Syspro experience
