Description
Situated in Sandton, St David’s is a Catholic, Independent Day School for boys of all faiths, from Grade 00 to Grade 12.
Established in 1941, St David’s Marist Inanda forms part of the Marist educational community which
comprises 5 Marist Schools in South Africa and educational institutions in over 75 countries

St David’s Marist Inanda seeks to appoint a dynamic experienced Educator in the following position in
the Preparatory School
Responsibilities
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- • Display an understanding of the Catholic ethos and Marist values of the school.
• Be appropriately qualified with the necessary Degree and professional qualifications and must be
SACE registered.
• Display a genuine passion for, and an in-depth understanding of teaching boys.
• Experience in learner/remedial support and differentiated teaching within a fluid teaching space will
be a distinct advantage.
• Be able to extend learners who require additional input over and above the mainstream curriculum.
• Have an understanding of concessions and implementation of concession systems.
• Have a proven record of excellence in teaching which attests to the applicant’s passion, innovation
and vibrancy for teaching in this phase.
• Lead, manage and collaborate with a dynamic academic enrichment team.
• Display high levels of professionalism and commitment.
• Be willing and able to contribute to the extra-curricular programme of the school.
• Possess appropriate technological skills and display a willingness to use technology in their teaching
methodology.
