Description
Clifton School, the independent day school for boys in Durban, runs from Grade 00 to Grade 12. It is situated in Morningside in Durban.
The College invites applications for the following post:
DIRECTOR OF SPORT – COLLEGE
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate must have the following qualities:
- prior experience in managing a sports department
- the ability to oversee all aspects for provision of a fully participatory and competitive sporting offering
- the ability to define and drive strategic vision for this area of the College
- the ability to collaborate effectively between departments such as transport, catering and facilities management, as well as managing staffing and budgets across all aspects of sport
- excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
- the ability to coach sport
- be an appropriately qualified and experienced teacher
- be registered with SACE;
- IEB teaching experience is an advantage, but not a prerequisite;
- be energetic and creative;
- must be prepared to play a full and active role in the co-curricular life of the school
