Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve set shift production targets for derpatmental sections.
- Conducting Quality Control dispatch functions of the relevant departments with diligence ensuring 100% accuracy of dispatch orders loaded in to Quantity, Quality and every parcel / box / pallet being undam-aged.
- Ensure first and secondary checks are conducted by Checker and Cage Controller, respectively and related documentation is prepared timeous and accurately.
- Ensure correct staging of outbound dispatch orders in accordance with demarcated route lines and time schedules.
- Ensure truck door seals are fitted when doors are closed, and the accurate written recording of seal numbers and details of loading truck and driver.
- Continuously ensure client satisfaction of services and maintain mutually conducive working relationships.
- Regular shift attendance, timeous reporting for shift and practice good timekeeping.
- Wear and maintain their PPE in a clean and tidy manner.
- Ensure good housekeeping is maintained during all shift and elimination of waste factors.
- 100% Compliance to both the client and Company OH&S Policies, Procedures, and regulations.
- Adherence to company Policies and Procedures related to all operational disciplines.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- No criminal record
- must be willing to work shifts and provide your own transport
- Must be able to concentrate continuously when performing activities.
- Be able to read and write proficiently.
- Maintain a high quality of administrative standards.
- Communicate clearly with Loading, picking and Supervisory staff.
- Relevant SOP’s and Work Instructions applicable to the tasks.
- Applicable OH&S Act provisions and standards
- Warehouse and FMCG experience
