Description

The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) is looking for a self-motivated individual to provide support and professional advice to all SANBI Business Units with regard to matters related to order management, SCM policies, procedures, processes, practices, systems, and frameworks which are governed by the Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, and other Legislation.

This position requires an advanced diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Logistics or equivalent qualification with NQF 6. A qualification in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Logistics or equivalent qualification at NQF 7 will be an added advantage. This position also requires 3 years’ work experience in the relevant field, with 1 year in the finance role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Attend to all matters related to order management and procurement processes in line with Supply Chain Management policies, procedures, systems, and frameworks;
  • Attend to an end to end administrative matters related to order and tender management, quotations processing, specifications, evaluations, and adjudication processes;
  • Provide professional service to suppliers and other related stakeholders; and
  • Provide assistance to manage governance, risk, and compliance
