Description
The role will report to the Executive Director Legal in the Legal and Contracts Department.
This is an Employment Equity role. Only EE Applications will be considered (Black, Coloured, Indian)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Contract Administration support. Create, Maintain and Update contractual data on a functional reference system. General Legal Support and advisory for the businesses. Assist with all aspects of negotiation, reviewing, compiling, and finalization of Contract Agreements and Legal Documents. Advice on implications, variations, risks, and suggested course of mitigation related to contractual documents. Reviewing of contracts at the tender stage. Monitoring of contractual compliance. Sound Contracts knowledge to assist Project Manager and Business Stakeholders. Experience with construction contracts such as NEC, JBCC, and FIDIC. Meeting short deadlines and work on high standards of Ethics and performance. Providing general legal advice to all divisions. Collaborate with other divisions for quick execution of assigned responsibilities. Occasional travel throughout our different branches in different provinces as required.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
A degree in law such as LLB. Admission as an Attorney. 3-5 years post-admission experience. Experience with construction contracts such as NEC, JBCC, and FIDIC. Advantageous - experience in a construction environment with emphasis in contract administration and management from a legal perspective. General legal exposure.

Salary / Package
R35,000 to R45,000 CTC per month / Negotiable
