Description
Our client in Woodmead is looking for a Logistics Process Engineer with experience in 3rd Party/Vendor management.
Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Matric and Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations or Business Related
- Experience from an international company preferably
- Experienced in 3rd Party/Vendor management
- Minimum 5 years experience in supply Chain, Logistics, inventory control at a supervisor level
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all inventory holding locations and inventory controllers
- Business support – technology and process:
- System support LSP interface process
- Support on quicker turnaround on technical issues identified impacting member experience
- Innovation – Bring in innovative ideas which will improve the business in terms of efficiency, quality or customer experience
- Identify cost-reduction/process improvement opportunities
- Evaluate the use of technologies/new technologies rollout and support implementations
- Process improvement to drive member experience and support overall logistics service
- Develop tools to support internal logistics reporting to provide more visibility to the business
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner Project management - Supporting management with new projects/potential new warehouses planned to open
- Develop maintain and share expertise on logistical technology and concepts. Monitor new developments and translate into new opportunities.
- Train and support the logistics team on new process/implementations.
