Our client within the Logistics sector seeks to employ a Payroll Administrator / Admin Clerk to join their team in Westmead.Our client within the Logistics sector seeks to employ a Payroll Administrator / Admin Clerk to join their team in Westmead.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurate, timeous and consistent end to end processing of company payroll.
- Maintenance of payroll system and leave administration system.
- Develop, review and maintain payroll administration processes and procedures
- Document new procedures and guidelines for the payroll system
- Monitor compliance to payroll administration procedures and guidelines
- Processing and administration of all additional reimbursement and pay related allowances
- Administration and maintenance of employee benefits in accordance with Road Freight Bargaining Council Rules
- Experience with Uniclox Vision Enterprise Platinum Clocking System
- Liaising with staff and management on payroll and employee related queries.
- Manage and conduct month-end and year-end statutory requirements.
- Reconciliation and payment of PAYE, UIF and SDL and 3rd party payments
- Assist with reconciliation of payroll related GL accounts.
- Assist Finance Department with general invoicing and admin
- Accurate and timeous delivery of ad hoc, monthly and annual HR Reports
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric Qualification
- Diploma or Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- Extensive Road Freight Bargaining Council Experience (Non-negotiable)
- Have 3+ years' payroll experience, with weekly, bi-weekly and monthly paid employees
- Previous experience working in a Transport environment advantageous
- Criminal clear
- ITC Clear
- 5 years experience on the VIP/Sage Premier Payroll system (Non-negotiable)
