Duties & Responsibilities
Description:
The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying software, from layout to function and according to specifications.
The person will gather requirements from clients and users and assist in meeting those needs. They will design the architecture of the components of an application and will make decisions on the best technologies and languages for projects.
Education:
- BSc Honours in Information Science/ equivalent
Skills:
- Minimum 7 years experience
- Java EE 6
- Spring 4.x
- EJB 3
- JMS queues and topics
- JBoss, WebSphere or Glassfish experience
- Oracle Java certified
- Java
- JPA (e.g.: Hibernate, Eclipselink, Toplink)
- JAX-WS (Rest + SOAP)
- JUnit
- Maven
