Our client is looking someone who has done the following:

 

Responsibilities:

Maintain the IT infrastructure (Hardware, Software, Network)

Update the Asset Register:

• Compile and update the assets register with the name of the user/ owner reflect with every PC, mouse, keyboard, headset
• The register must cater for serial numbers or unique identifying names/ numbers for every piece of hardware as far as possible
• The register must reflect all changes and replacements of hardware changes, most notably new purchases, and items kept in-store or sent for repair whenever any of the above occurs
• The register must be e-mail to the insurers reflecting any changes, addition
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• Obtain authorization to order any new IT- related hardware and software in terms of respective quotations and budget requirements
