Uplands is a member of the Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa (ISASA) and the Anglican Board of Education of South Africa (ABESA) and offers examinations set by the Independent Examination Board (IEB).
Uplands seeks to appoint a Finance Administrator, whose strengths will lie in good verbal and written communication as well as being an enthusiastic and energetic person.
Responsibilities
- Possess a suitable professional qualification.
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role (experience in education advantageous)
- Processing orders and invoicing
- Supporting the finance team with general administration
- Assisting with procurement and supply chain queries
- Maintain a good working knowledge of finance systems and processes.
- Compile and attend to debtors and creditors queries
- Assist with control allocation of the schools assets register
- Ensuring adherence with school policies and procedures
- Financial governance and related matters
- Support with general office duties
