Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop, review, and monitor the academic strategy
- Manage the academic timetable and review academic workloads
- Communicate the academic strategy internally and externally
- Set academic performance goals against the academic strategy
- Ensure effective and efficient staffing
- Monitor lesson preparation and examinations in accordance with the curriculum
- Ensure that standardised assessments are developed and administered
- Embed a goal-oriented approach to academic results
- Manage and streamline academic reports
- Develop and implement a quality assurance framework to ensure effective academic performance
- Support academic staff to ensure high performance aligned with strategy and goals
- Give regular, actionable feedback to academic staff
- Budget for all academic associated activities
