Description
Our client, a Direct Selling Company is seeking a target driven Area Sales Manager to provide full business support to the Sales Team in order to improve and grow the businesses in the Freestate. This is a work from home role, with regular travel to client sites and monthly meetings at Head office in Johannesburg. This is a target driven sales role and as such you will be required to attend client meetings which may occur outside of normal working hours.
Key Performance Areas are as follows;
- Assist the sales team with on the ground recruiting and sales activities
- Support and equip the sales team to run and develop their selling and distribution businesses
- Analyse and monitor Sales performance metrics and thereafter implement any necessary corrective actions including providing on the ground support
- Mentor, coach and train Sales Staff in various disciplines including sales, recruiting, finance, operations, people management etc.
- Co-ordinate and host Sales Meetings
- Manage telephonic and digital communication channels between Sales Staff and the Support Office
- Provide operational and administrative assistance for example: o Evaluating and providing recommendations to improve warehousing and stock related processes
- Assess administrative systems and process including invoicing and accounting systems
- Motivate Sales Team and keep them engaged by regular communication
- Recognizing and celebrating excellent Sales performance;
- Ensure that the Sales Team complies with the Company's Brands, including general business requirements. Ensure that the Sales Team conduct their businesses in line with the Company's purpose and values.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 5 or more years in a similar role within a Direct Selling Business
- Alternatively, 5 or more years' experience in a role providing both sales and operational support to franchisees or other businesses
- Required to travel to the Johannesburg office once or twice a month
- Reside in the region
- Be able to converse in Sesotho & Afrikaans
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong and accessible network within the relevant region
