Key responsibilities for the role include

• Conducting diligent and responsible monitoring of all students at the aftercare
• Supervise all activities to ensure safety at all times.
• Liaise with parents.
• Manage behaviour of students according to the Woodlands Code of Conduct
• Planning, organising and supervision of children and various child-based activities.
• Supervising of homework
• Supervising the lunch routine
• Maintaining and accurate attendance register
• Participate in dismissal procedures at the end of aftercare, ensuring that each child leaves with the appropriate adult
• Ensure a professional, friendly and cordial relationship with both the students and the parents.
• Managing holiday club through the school holidays
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the College management team according to the College’s needs.

The successful candidate should have the following attributes:

• Good organising and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, organised, and energetic
• The intention to work according to the school’s ethos, specifications and policies
• A willingness to work as part of a team.
• SACE registered preferable.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the same or similar role in a school environment
• Excellent inter-personal skills
• Have a willingness to participate in all facets of College life.
