Description
Founded in 1899 by the Holy Family Sisters, Maris Stella is an Independent Catholic Day School catering for girls from Grade 000 to Grade 12. Situated on the Berea, Durban, Maris Stella is a multi-faceted school, comprising four schools in one.
Responsibilities
Appropriately qualified, experienced and SACE registered teachers, preferably with IEB experience, are invited to apply for the abovementioned position. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, organised and suited to teaching in a girls’ Catholic School with the ability to identify, fully support and contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
The ideal candidate should also have the ability to teach Music as an IEB Subject to Grade 12. They must have the ability to teach and play piano. They would be responsible for directing the choir and developing and inspiring the Music Programme of the School. Excellent communication skills are essential.
