• Manage, report and control all stock picked for delivery.
• Manage all loading of delivery vehicles, including long distance.
• Ensure truck loading according to order.
• Manage all deliveries to Customers and collections from Customers.
• Manage all stock variances and losses associated with deliveries.
• Manage all repacked and collection customer pallets
• Manage all vehicles, trucks, and forklifts, including services, roadworthy certificates and upkeep.
• Reconcile all Fuel/Diesel purchases -Trucks & Forklift
• Route planning for daily delivery schedule according to requirements.
• Manage personnel related matters associated with the department above including disciplinary action.
• Develop, implement and manage policies and procedure associated with the department above.
• Ensure upkeep of BRC, Health & Safety and SEDEX standards pertaining to Logistics.
• Oversee Truck / Container Inspections
• Ensure that sufficient staff is available for loading of trucks
