Description
Workshop Manager functions in accordance with Group performance standards. Running the Service Department of a dealership, for both OEM’s. Managing Productive and non-productive teams, achieving Dealership targets (GP and sales), ensuring admin controls are 100% met, managing the entire process from booking to delivery, dealing with customers and offering exceptional service. Ensuring that Automate and BSI systems are updated per job, ensuring all warranty systems are adhered to per OEM standards.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Must have minimum 3 years management experience.
- Have strong people and management skills.
- Performance driven.
- Excellent with Customers.
- Drivers licence and matric required.
- Be energetic, motivated and passionate about service and customer satisfaction.
- Fully qualified and have a broad knowledge of all vehicle makes/ models.
- Coach and mentor staff and be able to provide guidance on vehicle repairs / service.
- Proven track record working as a mechanic.
- Relevant tertiary qualification essential
- Electrical experience advantageous
- An understanding of engines is essential, and prior automotive experience can be beneficial
- Dynamic, innovative and structured individual
- Professional, hardworking, fast learning individual
- Ability to operate all auto repair tools
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment essential
