Description
PMO within Financial Institution is seeking a talented Presentation and Data Communications Designer. This role would work closely with the project data management team, helping the PMO to develop visually appealing presentations for the C-Suit level audience on a defined cadency and ad hoc manner.
The role will be required to oversee tracking and reporting on project portfolio performance off the back of the ppm process - gathering, analysis, alignment and management of project information for the portfolio. The portfolio will be mostly made up of strategic initiative projects as well as remnants of past reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Transform quantitative and qualitative project performance insights from centralized and dispersed data sources to visually appealing and impactful presentations through Powerpoint
- Design compelling, accurate and engaging data visualizations (diagrams) that tell stories with data succinctly
- Continuously improve template designs and layouts for presentations
- Manage customized presentation templates, including elements such as iconography, page layouts and customized digital art imagery
- Collaborate closely with a team of project management systems owners to design and maintain datasets used in presentations
- Communicate with brand design on presentation needs and data visualization request
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Clear communication style - able to articulate ideas and voice constructive opinions.
- Demonstrate collaboration and professionalism, with good problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with expert knowledge in PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Data Lineage
- Skilled in written composition, grammar, punctuation and spelling required for editing material.
- Experience working within brand guidelines to create stunning visual presentations.
- Experience working with data to visualize complex ideas.
- Stunning visual communication skills.
- Remains up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Interest in banking and portfolio management.
