Duties & Responsibilities
Job & Company Description:
An established residential and commercial property management company is looking for an experienced VAT and Tax Administrator to join their fast-paced team in Pretoria.
The purpose of this role will be to perform all Company Tax and VAT functions for the company and the Holding company.
The successful candidate must be able to operate under pressure, be energetic and have meticulous attention to detail.
Education:
Degree in finance with accounting and tax majors
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles is a non-negotiable
1 to 2 years’ experience with tax and VAT
Working knowledge of accounting and IFRS is a non-negotiable
Knowledge of Companies Tax and VAT
Completing and submitting Tax and VAT returns
Strong MS Office skills
Strong Excel skills
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Work well under pressure
Deadline driven and results orientated
Good people skills and assertiveness
Team player
