Situated in Kimberley in the Northern Cape, St Patrick’s CBC (the “School”) is a Catholic, independent co-educational school,
currently catering for boys and girls of all faiths, from Early Childhood Development to Grade 12.

Established in 1897 by the Christian Brothers, it is the only school in the Northern Cape offering the highly accredited Independent
Examinations Board (IEB) curriculum.

In summary, St Patrick’s CBC develops pupils from diverse backgrounds and differing aptitudes, for a life of learning, leadership,
service and personal achievement, true to its history and the charitable intentions of its founders.

St Patrick’s Development Trust (the “Trust”) a registered Trust and PBO, has raised R65 mill, which has been spent on over 30
expansion and improvement projects. In the future, the Trust will be focussing on providing bursaries and scholarships to
deserving but financially-challenged pupils, in the spirit of the Christian Brothers who selflessly dedicated their lives to educate
the less fortunate.

In preparation for this, the Trust intends to place a dedicated focus on this next phase and is seeking to appoint a

TRUST BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Reporting to the to the Chairman of the Trust, this fulltime role will be an important part of the development and expansion of
new Trust programmes and strategic direction as well as the day-to-day management and administrative requirements of the Trust

Responsibilities

Skillset required…

  • Experience in the non-profit sector, including fundraising and donor development, or
  • Commercial/marketing qualification/experience,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable presenting to a wide range of constituents,
  • Computer literacy,
  • A working knowledge of a donor management system or CRM
  • Able to manage the Trust’s day-to-day non-profit-related administration.
