Validate that the solutions meet quality, performance, architectural and functional requirements

Ensure that every test effort is effectively planned, monitored and executed and the core activities required by the Testing

Framework are completed in a structured and consistent manner responsible for all test phases - unit, system, integration and functional testing & acceptance

Ensure that all required testing deliverables are created including testing approach, testing scenarios, conditions and expected results, test scripts and testing control sheets

Execute formal review cycles including informal review, formal review, testing sign-off and quality assurance review

Engage all relevant stakeholders and secure the requisite sign-offs

Manage test environment and test data

Minimum Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, or Informatics, or Engineering, or Information Systems, or other relevant qualification at NQF7; AND

Advanced ISTQB Certification; AND

Certified in use of Automated Testing Tools (e.g. Rational Functional I Performance Tester, LoadUI, or JMeter); AND

Certified in use of Testing Management software suite (e.g. ALM, Rational Quality Manager)

Minimum Experience

10+ years in ICT industry

8+ years in Testing

6+ years in implementing testing methodologies and standards

5+ years in implementation of automated test tools

5+ years in use of integration testing tools (e.g. SoapUI, LoadUI)

Knowledge of Quality Standards and Procedures
