·       Responsible for setting up and getting approval of test & evaluation plans and appropriate test procedures – Scope testing.

·       To gather requirements for test activities.

·       To conduct interviews with business analysts, technical specialists, users.

·       To derive a series of test cases.

·       Responsible for the execution of the approved test plans and test cases. Comparison of test results with pre-defined expected results. Prepare test reports derived after execution of tests.

·       To ensure proper recording of test results (i.e. issues, enhancements).

·       Responsible for evaluating IT systems against prescribed standards and performance criteria.

·       To analyse quality assurance data and make recommendations for improvement.

·       To analyse contact centre calls and prompt reaction in cases where the effectiveness of the user is impacted.

·       Participation and thorough input into the various project teams responsible for developing new products, creating business requirements, processes and procedures.

·       To assist with thorough and user-friendly documentation of user procedures and Release Notes.

To ensure that the second line support on the various systems is done promptly

·       Senior Certificate is essential.

·       National Diploma in information technology is essential.

·       ISEB Certification (International Software Examination Board Certification in testing) is essential.

·       3 to 5 Years testing and test analyst experience is essential.

·       Automation testing experience is desirable

·       Experience in a Banking environment is desirable.

·       Experience in working with multiple departments in an IT development environment is essential.

·       Knowledge of Quality Centre

·       Be able to write a query in SQL is desirable.

R 20 000 to R 30 000 / month Depending on Experience
