Description
- The Programme Officer will be responsible for opportunity development, strategy development and program backstopping. He/ she will support the team in planning funding, implementation and reporting of respective program operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- B. degree in Social Science, International Development, International Relations or related field.
- Masters in Social Science, International Development, International Relations is preferred.
- 5 years or more experience in an NGO management and program/project work.
- Experience in the social and health sector projects is an added advantage.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of project design and proposal writing.
- Basic understanding of the workings of major donors and relevant foundations.
- Proficiency in MS package.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Promotes new innovative ideas and solutions for improving work.
- Strong listening skills, attention to detail and commitment to high accuracy levels in all aspects of the job.
