Description

  • The Programme Officer will be responsible for opportunity development, strategy development and program backstopping. He/ she will support the team in planning funding, implementation and reporting of respective program operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • B. degree in Social Science, International Development, International Relations or related field.
  • Masters in Social Science, International Development, International Relations is preferred.
  • 5 years or more experience in an NGO management and program/project work.
  • Experience in the social and health sector projects is an added advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of project design and proposal writing.
  • Basic understanding of the workings of major donors and relevant foundations.
  • Proficiency in MS package.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Promotes new innovative ideas and solutions for improving work.
  • Strong listening skills, attention to detail and commitment to high accuracy levels in all aspects of the job.
