Description
To perform all tasks related to the implementation and management of the company’s manufacturing systems, with a focus on troubleshooting technical issues. Responsible for making key decisions for technical issues after considering all aspects from cost to quality.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the R&D and QC departments, including HR and line management aspects
- Develop and coach the R&D, QC, and laboratory teams to ensure they are fully trained and able to perform their duties
- Monitor quality standards and support other departments with quality related problems
- Provide guidance to purchasing
- Compliance oversight
- Sign off communications to customers from the QC department (Specs, COA’s,
- MSDS’s, complaint reports, etc)
- Oversee the development and implementation of management systems through all steps of the process including review and approval of documentation and
- SAP updates/modifications.
- Develop new and optimise/modify existing products: Provide input into, review and sign off new product proposals, validate and verify product formulations.

- 10+ years industry experience

- A relevant tertiary degree
