Melkbosstrand Private School is a Christian school situated in the beautiful country side of Melkbosstrand, Cape Town.
We are a proudly – South African independent registered and UMALUSI accredited school.
We invite applications for the following Permanent Teaching Position:
Senior & FET Phase
Responsibilities
- Possess relevant teaching qualification: B. Ed or PGCE (Senior Phase / FET).
- SACE registered and Police clearance certification are non-negotiables.
- Fully Bi-lingual – A & E – is an essential requirement.
- Ability to coach cricket and other sports is essential.
- Previous experience of 3-5 years will be advantageous.
- Be willing to adhere to and participate in the Christian Ethos of the school.
- Experience and knowledge of the IEB curriculum and the use of Google classroom will be advantageous.
- Willingness to assist with AV during assemblies and school events.
- Innovative and willing to develop own teaching skills through planned teacher training (Keller Education)
- Dynamic personality with a growth mind-set; commitment to embracing and sharing new ideas and pedagogies.
- Passionate about teaching and learning.
- Be confident to follow a Thematic Approach (Keller methodology) where subject integration is part of curriculum enhancement.
- Relentless in the use of practical work and experiential activities to facilitate learning.
- Prepared to be part of a team that is constantly evolving through self-reflection, feedback and instructional coaching
